The HenDawgs vs Armadildos — Week 4 Recap
The Result
The HenDawgs put up 113.32 against the Armadildos' 84.58, a 28.74-point final margin. Peter's side actually landed well short of its own number, projected at 127.74 and finishing 113.32. Sebastian's Armadildos cratered worse — projected for 110.13, they managed only 84.58. Neither team hit their number, but one team's miss was a lot more survivable than the other's.
The Correction
The preview called it: "The HenDawgs (Peter), by 16.47." Final margin came in at 28.74 — same winner, bigger gap than advertised. Hit. That puts the season record at 6 of 20.
Who Delivered, Who Didn't
Joe Burrow anchored the Henhouse with 23.72, and Jonathan Taylor did exactly what he was supposed to, going for 22.2 against a 20.14 projection. Tee Higgins chipped in 21.2 on top of that — a genuinely strong receiving line.
On the other side, nothing worked. Emeka Egbuka was projected for 8.5 and returned 2.3. The Buffalo Bills defense scored 3.5. Jakobi Meyers turned in 4.8. That's three lineup spots that simply didn't show up, and in a 28-point loss, that's not noise — that's the loss.
The Bench
This is where it gets painful for Sebastian. Drake Maye sat on the bench and dropped 26.16 while Emeka Egbuka started and gave back 2.3 — 23.86 points left on the table right there. Alvin Kamara put up 20.3 from the bench while the Bills defense started and managed 3.5, another 16.8 points surrendered to a roster decision. Brian Thomas added 8.7 unused points behind Jakobi Meyers's 4.8, a gap of 3.9. And Chris Rodriguez scored 9.5 in reserve while Stefon Diggs started for 6, costing 3.5 more. That's four separate bench calls that all broke the wrong way in the same week.
The Swing
This one wasn't decided by a single swap. The margin was 28.74, and even the single biggest bench regret — Drake Maye's 23.86 over Egbuka — doesn't close that gap. Stack all four regrets and you're nowhere near flipping this result. The Armadildos didn't lose because of one bad call; they lost because the whole lineup underperformed across the board.
Positional Results
| Position | Home | Edge | Away | Delta |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| QB | 23.7 | 11.5 proj 17.8 | +12.2 | |
| RB | 35.0 | 41.3 proj 43.1 | -6.3 | |
| WR | 36.1 | 19.2 proj 26.7 | +16.9 | |
| TE | 15.0 | 6.6 proj 13.9 | +8.4 | |
| DEF | 3.5 | 6.0 proj 8.6 | -2.5 |
Taylor's group kept the Armadildos competitive on the ground, but the Henhouse buried them at quarterback, receiver, and tight end — the three spots that actually decided this one.
Standings Impact
Both clubs sit at 2-1 on the season. The league needs 6 wins to make the playoffs, with 4 or fewer risking last place and the Pink. There are 10 weeks left after this one — plenty of time for either side to make a statement, but the Armadildos just posted their lowest bar of the season doing it, and that's worth remembering the next time their projection looks rosy.
