Boyz II Men: Back-On-Top vs The Wildfire Infernos — Week 2 Recap
The Result
Boyz II Men: Back-On-Top put up 154.66 against The Wildfire Infernos' 116.36, a 38.3 point margin. Kasper's team blew past its own projection of 109.79, while Rasmus's Infernos landed almost exactly on their number, 116.51 projected against 116.36 actual. One team got a monster week. The other team got exactly what the projections said they'd get, and it still wasn't close.
The Correction
The preview called this one for The Wildfire Infernos (Rasmus), by 6.73. That's a miss, and not a marginal one — Rasmus's squad performed almost exactly to projection and still lost by nearly 32 points more than the predicted margin in the other direction. No excuses on this one. Season record on picks: 2 of 9.
Who Delivered, Who Didn't
Davante Adams was the story of the week: 35.5 actual points against a 10.22 projection. That's not a slight beat, that's a different player showing up. Amon-Ra St. Brown backed him up with 30.7 against a 14.22 projection, and Dak Prescott chipped in 29.76 against 20.26 projected. That's three players blowing past their numbers on the same roster, which is how you turn a 109-point projection into a 154-point outcome.
On the other side, nothing worked. Jadarian Price managed 4.5 on a 10.96 projection, Luther Burden scored 4.7 against 9.17 expected, and Drake London put up 6.9 against an 11.48 projection. Three players, three misses, and that's the difference between a competitive week and a laugher.
The Bench
The Infernos left real points on the table. Tre Tucker scored 20.4 sitting on the bench while Luther Burden started and returned 4.7 — that's 15.7 points surrendered on that one decision alone. Adonai Mitchell added 9.3 on the bench against Jadarian Price's 4.5 as the starter, another 4.8 lost. And Tyler Warren posted 11.4 unused while Drake London started and scored 6.9, costing 4.5 more.
The Swing
This one wasn't decided by a single lineup call, and the arithmetic backs that up. The margin was 38.3 points. Even the single biggest bench regret — Tre Tucker's 15.7 — doesn't come close to closing that gap. Rasmus could have started every bench alternative correctly and still lost.
Positional Results

| DEF | 9.0 proj 8.9 | 19.0 proj 8.5 | -10.0 |
The receiver corps decided this game outright — a 77.3 swing at wide receiver dwarfs everything else on the board, including the Infernos' advantages at running back and tight end and defense.
Standings Impact
Boyz II Men: Back-On-Top moves to 2-0, while The Wildfire Infernos fall to 0-2. With 6 wins needed for a playoff spot and 4 or fewer wins risking last place, Rasmus's team needs to find answers fast — there are 12 weeks left in this 14-week season, so there's time, but an 0-2 start against a team that just torched its own projection by 45 points is not the cushion anybody wants heading into that stretch.
